Quick Tips |

1. Orienting SMART Board: Press and hold the Keyboard and Right Mouse buttons simultaneously until the Orientation screen appears. Press your finger or pen on the center of each cross in the order of the diamond-shaped graphic. 2. Quick Erasing: Pick up eraser and draw circle around the area to be erased. Touch with eraser or finger inside of circle to erase. 3. Picture Freeze: Click Picture Freeze on remote to continue displaying the current screen and still use your computer for other purposes. This is great when students are using the display for morning work and you need to click into other files without disrupting their screen. 4. Picture Mute: To extend the life of projector bulb, click Picture Mute on Remote. This will close down the illumination of the screen without completely shutting down the projector. Click Picture Mute to resume and the screen appears immediately. 5. Right Clicking: Instead of using the right mouse button located in the pen tray, touch the area of the Board where you need the right-click menu and hold your finger there until the right-click menu appears. 6. Task Bar SMART Tools: · Use the Screen Shade Tool to cover your screen until you're ready to reveal it to your students. Then drag it down, to the left, or to the right. · Use the Magnifier Tool to make small screen areas/text easier to see. · Use the Pointer Tool to point out important areas on your screen. · Use the Spotlight Tool to focus your student's attention on a particular area of the screen. |
