Text Box: Principal’s Message
Mrs. Sheri Horton

Dear Parents:

The faculty and staff of Queen Creek Elementary welcome you to the 2009-2010 school year. We want to assure you that we have the best interest of your child at heart and we will do our best to provide each student with the motivation and confidence to learn. Our faculty and staff will be committed to helping our students develop the characteristics and qualities that will enable them to achieve academic success.

Our goal this year is to continue high academic achievement and to provide a positive environment that promotes self worth for all students and their individual differences. I hope to establish an open channel of communication between the school and community.

We believe in fair and consistent discipline because discipline is necessary to have an environment that will give your child every opportunity to grow academically.

Queen Creek Elementary believes WORKING TOGETHER is the key to success for our students. I encourage you to get know the teachers and staff. Do not hesitate to ask questions, visit classes, attend events and volunteer as your schedule permits.

We will keep in touch with you during the year and bring you up to date on school activities through the school newsletter and other notices. We are looking forward to working with you and your children to make this a positive, exciting and successful school year.

We opened our newest wing this year with expanded room for our 3rd and 4th grades as well as special education needs children.

I hope we can continue to grow to support the needs of our Queen Creek students and families.
